Texting Apps and Burner Numbers that Work With Tinder

16 Fake Numbers That Work for Tinder in 2025

Finding a fake number for Tinder is harder in 2025 because Tinder blocks most VoIP and recycled numbers. Many people try using a free phone number on Tinder, but these almost never work, the numbers are already in use, flagged, or tied to banned accounts.

To pass Tinder phone number verification, you need a fresh, unused number with no dating app history.

Below is the fastest and clearest breakdown of what actually works and what fails.

AppDoes it work for Tinder phone verification?
DatingZest TinderWorks — fresh, unused numbers made for Tinder.
PingMeWorks only with paid, fresh numbers.
TextVerifiedWorks — clean one-time numbers.
TracfoneWorks — real SIM, clean history.
BurnerSometimes works — recycled numbers. A Tinder burner number can work, but not reliably.
KrispCallMight work if you get a fresh number.
CalilioMixed results — depends on number quality.
HushedDoes not work — mostly recycled numbers.
PhonerAppDoes not work — reused VoIP numbers.
SidelineDoes not work — business numbers get blocked.
TextNowRarely works — heavily recycled free numbers.
TextFreeSometimes works — mostly reused and flagged.
TalkatoneDoes not work — instant blocks on Tinder.
DingtoneDoes not work — widely reused dating numbers.
TextPlusDoes not work — recycled VoIP numbers.
Google VoiceNever works — instantly blocked by Tinder.

If you are looking specifically for a virtual phone number for Tinder, choose a service with unused numbers.

You can use our Tinder Phone Number Generator tool to get your private real phone number for Tinder verification.

Best for Tinder Phone Number Verification (Tested)

Tinderophone works for Tinder; Has been tested four times, and results successful each testing time.

These services provide phone numbers that work for Tinder, either through real SIM cards or unused virtual numbers:

  • DatingZest – Works consistently (fresh, unused Tinder-ready numbers)
  • PingMe (paid numbers only) – Works if the number is new
  • TextVerified – Works (clean one-time verification numbers)
  • Tracfone – Works (real SIM = clean number history)
  • Burner – Sometimes works (recycled numbers make it inconsistent)
  • KrispCall – May work if you get a fresh number
  • Calilio – Mixed results, depends on number quality

If you’re wondering what phone apps work with Tinder, these are the only ones with a real chance.

Texting Apps That Don’t Work/Risky

These fail most of the time because their numbers are recycled, VoIP-based, or heavily abused across dating apps.

  • Hushed – Fails; most numbers are reused and Tinder blocks them quickly.
  • PhonerApp – Fails; reused VoIP numbers are instantly detected.
  • Sideline – Fails; business numbers come with long usage history Tinder won’t accept.
  • TextNow – Rarely works; free TextNow Tinder numbers are recycled thousands of times.
  • TextFree – Mostly fails; numbers are reused and easy for Tinder to flag.
  • Talkatone – Doesn’t work; recycled VoIP numbers are blocked almost immediately.
  • Dingtone – Doesn’t work; numbers are heavily reused on dating apps.
  • TextPlus – Doesn’t work; VoIP pool is overused and fails instantly.
  • Google Voice – Never works; Google Voice Tinder numbers are permanently blocked.

Google Voice rarely works for Tinder phone verification. Because it has such a large user base, most numbers are already flagged or blocked before you get them.

It’s free to use, but extremely unreliable, and using a Google Voice number can even trigger a ban or shadowban on your Tinder account, making future signups harder. Great for other platforms, but a guaranteed failure for Tinder.

Apps like TextNow and TextFree are common searches for free phone number for Tinder, but they do not work because all numbers are recycled.

Why Tinder Blocks Most Free Numbers for Verification

Tinder blocks most fake numbers for Tinder because the majority come from free VoIP apps that recycle the same numbers thousands of times. Numbers from TextNow, TextFree, Dingtone, Talkatone, TextPlus, and Google Voice are extremely overused, and many are tied to banned or spam accounts.

Tinder automatically detects:

  • VoIP carriers and known VoIP ranges
  • Recycled numbers with long usage history
  • Numbers previously used on banned accounts
  • Mass-generated virtual numbers that appear in high-abuse pools

When Tinder sees any of these signals, the number is rejected instantly — the verification code doesn’t arrive, or it fails right after entering it.

Tinder only trusts:

  • real SIM-based numbers with clean history
  • fresh, unused virtual numbers that haven’t been used on dating apps before

This is why a Tinder virtual number only works if it’s completely new and has zero previous activity on Tinder.

This article is poorly researched. Tinder doesn’t allow numbers from IP companies. I use Hushed and Google phone and my many attempts failed. Yes, I changed my IP.

      Hi Eric,

That’s not related to IP, if you got many attempts failed that means it’s a virtual number. Because Virtual numbers aren’t accepted by apps and can be detected easily.

But if the app gives real numbers, then you will be OK. Some of the apps give real numbers we didn’t test them, but we did test a few of them and they were good.

      Thank you.
